Useful tip:
Using Screen Capture

Using the Screen Capture Utility

It may be necessary to download the utility
from the Click-N-Run Warehouse (CNR)

1. This is what the front panel looks like...

2. How it works is this;

You press the Grab button and the application disappears from the desktop.

If the adjustable delay is at zero, it immediately captures whatever the bottom left hand selection is - fullscreen or the window in which the mouse pointer is located.

If the adjustable delay is at a number of seconds, after that selected time it will capture whatever the bottom left hand selection is - fullscreen or the window in which the mouse pointer is located.

This time delay allows you to capture windows cascading, etc.

The Application will then return to the desktop and the option to save, print or discard is yours.

If you choose save it will place the file in your home directory, or you may select a different existing directory of your choice.

Having done that, it will increment the default filename by one number, ready for the next capture. It captures in 24-bit .png format, regardless of what the resolution of your desktop actually is.

A great little product which works very well :)

3. If you wish to have the capture utility start up every time you launch Lindows/Linspire, please read the hint/tip we have created about adding an autostart to your system
